.....to everyone. I hope you are able to get out and have some fun. As for me I’m going swimming, BBQ’ing some chicken and steak, drinking a few beers then going to a firework show. Should be an enjoyable day/evening.

Have fun and be safe......

Get a DD or don't drive.

Yeah, it's been 9 years since Independence Day came out and Will Smith eradicated an entire alien race with awsome special effects.
A day that will live forever in its glory

Let us celebrate this day in a spirit of a movie and destroy as much property as we can

Happy Independence Day everyone

Or are you talking about some other holiday....

$300.00 worth of fireworks currently being exploded infront of my house. All the neighbors are involved, but somehow I got stuck grilling the hamburgers and hotdogs
thankfully I was fed a constant supply of vodka and cranberry juice. Happy 4th of July everyone. Drunk, wasteful, and lavish, the good old American way

I just returned from the festivities. The local firework show scared the crapola out of me. From where I was sitting you could clearly see the “fire line” where all the firework mortars were lined up. On the left side seemingly isolated from the rest of the line were maybe 2-4 rows of 30 LARGE shells. You know the ones that shock everyone from the massively loud launching charge and the even larger aerial detonation.

Anyway half way through the show they had an early detonation of one of the BIG mortars. The shell exploded on the ground sending multi colored flaming balls all over the desert (starting a fairly large desert fire) and over some of the crowd. Immediately I saw emergency lights flashing and fire trucks rolling. I just pray nobody from the pyrotechnics crew was killed or maimed. I tell you with the size of the shell that prematurely detonated anyone nearby really wouldn’t have much of a chance.
