Indeed, Arnie is no republican.

If anyone has listened to what little he has actually said about his intentions as governor, his words certainly speak as a left leaning liberal democrat. Consider also who he is married to, and her connections to the Kennedy family.

However, even though he is a democrat in republican clothing, his republican registration is likely required, as Gray Davis, and for that matter the entire democratic party has made such a farce of themselves that it would be virtually IMPOSSIBLE for ANYONE claiming to be a democrat to be taken seriously.

But then, this could well be a sneak attack... get Arnie in under republican registration, and allow him to self destruct the state of CA, and then blame the entire thing on the republicans.

HUH??? DR didn't say that. He didn't say anything like that. He said Arnie's not a republican because of his democratic views, not anything to do with where he came from.

...that's why I think arnie is confused. But with Pete WILSON, campaign director, he hardly can be more republican...

In fact, in europe, we call "royalist" or "conservative" what you call republican. We call "socialist", what you call "democrats" and "communists" what you call "socialists"...
