I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do it, just wondering if I am doing it right!

mig.laithwood has discontinued remote linking, have you tried the ATS uploads option?

Click on "upload" from the options, then you will see a small window pop-up where you can browse your files on your pc and select an image to upload.

When you're image is uploaded, you can access it by using:

"http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/uploads/filenamehere " (without the quotation marks)

Put this URL into the avatar box in your profile.

Thanks, I actually tried the ATS uploader, but can't seem to get it right. Where you say "http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/uploads/filenamehere "

Is that just the new filename that ATS gives you, or do you include an certain extension (i.e. .jpg or .xmt?).

This stuff is pretty time consuming, I really appreciate the help!

It looks right except you need to connect the "h" in http and your extension (.jpg, .gif, etc.), you should see it in your upload box. I usually copy and paste the filename from the uploader window and then insert it in to your url.

Once you get it, it'll be a breeze.
