well its all sorted out now and the launch is going ahead on the 13th of july.

i was thinking it wasnt going to happen for a while but its all systems go.

I would love to see a shuttle launch. I was on holiday in Florida in 1989 or 1990 and missed a shuttle lauch by a few days.

Yea, I replied to a thread yesterday that countdown begins July 10th and launch is around 4pm July 13th. If you want to know about that stuff ask me, considering I work at KSC, they usually tell launch information before it's released to CNN or those news places.

Thankfully I'll be seeing this shuttle launch, and thankfully civilizians aren't allowed to enter KSC that day so there won't be a ton of traffic like there normally is on launch days.

The rumor going around is that George W Bush is going to attend - I hope he does.
