word. It's not like it's an uber drug. I mean hell a six pack is going to mess you up more than a blunt.

I'm not Pro-drug
cause I don't consider pot a drug.

When I hear drugs I think of

Crystal Meth, Heroin, Crack, Acid, E, etc.

That's exactly why I'm all for it's legalisation
. Cannabis is a natural resource, and we should use it to expand our minds and for whatever medical properties it has. But our governments will ban anything that makes you think differently. I agree that alcohol is more dangerous than cannabis in it's ability to kill people with an overdose
. I know the long term effects of both drugs, but I don't think they are reason enough to stop me or anyone else from enjoying them.

Well, there's a very straightforward dichotomy here, as far as politicians are concerned.
Estragon, largely on financial grounds, goes for the "hang 'em all" option; but I suspect I could readily be persuaded to shift my vote to the "shoot 'em all" camp.

What is my political views, that is to say, how do I think the country should be run (as there is a difference between the sport of politics and running a country)? Read the constitution, the Bill of rights, the Articles of Confederation, the Old Testament, and you've got an idea of how it should be run in my country, in my opinion. But that is in my country, other folks are welcome to have whatever form of government they want.

well im gonna stick with socialist because after viewing the UK socialist party website, I agree with most of their stuff. I strongly agree with stamping out racism in the UK. Also i have finished reading the "communist manifesto" and its very interesting
i shall remain a socialist!

My political view is very similar to Jimmy Stewart's in Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window...

I feel like I'm incapacitated and am helplessly watching the violent murder of something beautiful.

I think that on a conspiracy based discussion forum, where people come to question the government, it can be expected that many members will be of a more left wing persuasion
.

I believe in socialism because i feel we are exploited by are governments. We don't even have a bill of rights in the UK and we should have one. Im anti-racism, i think Nazism is evil and war should only be used IF its the only answer.

Actually, I don't agree with this assumption. The percent of any given side (liberal/conservative) will be indirectly proportional to what side is in office at the time. There happen to be more left-wingers here because the right is "in control" right now...or, by numbers appear to be. Believe me, when Clinton was in office...there were probably a lot more right-wing militia type movements going on. Now, its liberal movements.

Yeah. And no socialistic nation has ever exploited their countrymen.

I guess the Soviet Union was long before some people's adult memories.

ey, this is what is says in the dictionary

"A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
Oppressive, dictatorial control. "

fascism is "teh" bad

That's surprising, being how you're a mod here. Are you sure you don't have those backwards?
Maybe you're being facetious?

Why is it strange that he holds those opinions and yet is a mod? Must a mod hold different opinions?

I do have a question, though. How can one be anti-gun yet be pro-war?

Dictatorship itself is a bad thing, as most of us will agree, but one leader who can be described as a dictator and has done a lot for his people and their standard of living is Fidel Castro of Cuba. The Cubans have some of the best healthcare and education systems in the world. Of course, the country's economy has been crippled by the American trade embargo. Castro does not go to great lengths in sharing power, but he is a reasonable good leader.
