CiderGood is right. Communism doesn't work because the greedy won't compromise and aren't prepared to be "on par" with the poor. It's the biggest tragedy to happen to mankind......a Doctrine that want's nothing but good for all, cannot work because there are too many people who only want the "good" to be in their hands.

I don't like Communism. They are godless,they want incoem equality which is stupid. I'm sticking with capitalism where I can make alot of money.

In a one party state, how would you change your government if they were not acting with the nation's best interests at heart? What do you do if they start to abuse their power, which they inevitably would?

,but it is obviously what the politicians are expecting to happen,the patriot act was written with dissenters in mind,anyone knows that there are no real terrorists here,there is no real threat,the only real threat is how terrified the citizenry get dancing around on the end of the media puppet string.

First of all how can you disbelieve the statement that "All Democrats are Commies." And,... Oh, screw it. That position is totally undefensible. I mean of all the positions you could have stated this would have to be th worst. Even "Tom Daschle is a flaming homosexual faggot" could be supported with a little help from photoshop.

I would take time to write a lengthy rebuttal to DA's thesis, but that has been done already. The only serious thing I shall say is that Democrats are just as big supporters of big buisness as Republicans.

I think we all knew that his claims were a little unfounded in the first place, and they have in the course of the thread been countered and disproved. In my mind if he doesn't have any sources of evidence to back himself up to begin with, he's lost the debate.

Republican: Put controll back into the hands of the people and let the government controll only things that they NEED to... like National Defense and such.

Democrat: Give the government controll of everything you don't want to be bothered with. Welfare, social security, banning and controlling substances, etc...

It's curious that anyone on this site would want the government more in controll of their lives than they already are. Perhaps some people need to rethink exactly what they are voting for and the consequences of having those people in our government.
