Controlling Your Dreams

I've heard many people say that they were able to control their dreams, and even realize that they were sleeping and such. This has only happened to me a few times in my life, and I'd like to see it happene again.

Is it possible to make yourself aware somehow during sleep?

I have been able to make myself aware that i am sleeping! And i can control some of my dreams and in them i can fly/levitate things/put my hand through a wall!

I think it depends how deep of a sleep you go to be able to control it.
