This is from an off-site archive, one that addresses the question of creationism and evolution from a scientific perspective. Over the years, a large database of claims, an original citation, a discussion (almost allways a refutation or clarification) and then source citations of the discussion, as built up there. They are short answers, often with links to large detailed essays and original source material. Its pretty handy, for anyone who wants to understand whats going on. A discussion can get pretty bogged down in irrelevancies if people are just asking whats already been asked, and can really get somewhere if all the participants are aware of the current standings. So here's the:

Index To Creationist Claims

Here's the first level Contents, just to give you an idea of what the structure is:

  1. Philosophy and Theology
  2. Biology
  3. Paleontology
  4. Geology
  5. Astronomy and Cosmology
  6. Physics and Mathematics
  7. Miscellaneous Anti-Evolution
  8. Biblical Creationism
  9. Intelligent Design
  10. Other Creationism

Interstingly, there is a 'wiki-rebuttal', a creationist wikki that is being assembled to rebute the statements there. That might prove a good resource too.

There's also, apparently, going to be a book form for the index, and related materials, available here, authored primarly by the prolific and educated Mark Issak!

The Counter-Creationism Handbook

That should prove useful!

Answers in Genesis is a decent Christian apologetic site.

Answers in Genesis hosts a page entitled "Arguments we think creationists should NOT use."
