US Power Outage..

I think the typical response is to pull the control rods to stop the reactions and engage diesel motors to keep coolant moving until it's cold.

I've read seven reactors are now cooling down.

I live in Niagara Falls there was no lighting strike we had clear skies all day NO RAIN.

I did not lose any power but many sections of the city did.

The power failure is only one more thing, besides OUR disappearing police officers and there cars. Yep, they brought in police officers from other agencies with there cars to patrol our streets. The reports they put out in the media doesn't tell the whole truth.

We either have bad COPS or its something PARANORMAL.

I would be very interested to hear from any members in NYC (I know we will have to wait until power comes back) to see what kind of police presence and activity is gong on up there.

Mr.Bush on tv.. Telling that there were no terrorist attack.. some how i dont belive him.. he seems to be hiding SOMETHING that HE KNOWS..

well i have just woke up (10:30am), i thought the power will be back on by now. Did the National guard come out?

UK news still sticking to the lightening story, like a drowning man clutching life preserver! I think after looking at everything, and sleeping on it, that imo its some kind of Hacker attack. Ive heard 3 diff explanations so far fire, powersurge at a local switch and lightening. something very strange happenned yesterday that much is sure

Yet another reason to live in the country...at least there's plenty of grass to go around. Sleeping on a filthy NY street just doesn't seem right to me.

I believe this power cut is the perfect "terrorist simulation" no one has been killed, but the police have been pushed to there max. That might explain why Bush isn't too bothered about this.

Now that is weird!
Kudos to the people in NY tho, they pulled together and as far as i have seen there was no major trouble last night, not the same in Toronto as far as ive heard, any one know if there was any trouble in Detroit etc?

very interesting, but what does it mean?? its too early in the morning for this *sighs*
