Donald Rumsfeld has said the insurgency can go on in Iraq for another dozen years. Support for the war is dwindling at home. However, since we're in the middle of it now, I don't see any way that we can withdraw without creating more problems for ourselves. Al Qaeda is festering there, so if we just leave, they'll take over ...

Congress is rumbling about withdrawing our troops, but is that even feasible at this point? Won't we just be in a worse fix if we do?

I would imagine the cost of it will eventually drain any will out of the coutnry as well. Already its bleeding the economy.

Looks like this war is turning more like vietnam everyday it goes by... There don't seem to be an end to this war...
