Woof.... This is gonna take me forever! The AVI file has (352 MB) and I have dialup 56k. I am downloading it but it says that for every 1Mb I have to wait from 1 to 5 minutes. Could there be an easier way perhaps?

you must have "windows movie maker" at least?
load it up in that then save it as a wmv

I use "adobe premiere pro" wich is good

or splice short bits for us to see
or if that fails, some screen shots (preferabley frame by frame of it moving)

Yeah get high speed cable or a T1 line.

Also if you can cut small parts out just put it on www.putfile.com...

There you don't have to provide an email address
and there is no bandwidth limit. There is a size limit though of 10MB per file.

DE-interlaced it and compressed it

any thing i can use to grab a desktop picture whils playing the video in divx?

The screen captures look really fine to me. I wasn't able to view the video but the grabs really made an impression on me. Good work! Now, carry on getting us more video/pics; if it comes back that is.

Weird your latest link no longer plays for me in Windows Media Player on OS X.

Says its an unsupported file format. WMP and WMV files are annoying.

I DL'd the vid from my storage via the link and via FTP.
The vid is definately corrupt.

I apologize for not verifying the integrity of the uploaded file (especially since I know damn better).

New file uploading now.

Bet I verify THAT ONE!!!!

Sorry again

OK,

The link above, bellsouth/dragon/etc seemingly will not keep a wmv file with out corrupting it. I have just completed the third shot at it (making 4 total), and it just is not going to work.

Ironic of that tho, being same server, is this..............

I have, however, another one. This link I did download and DID verify dammit!!! lol. It's a good one.

New Link:

bellsouthpwp.net...

TZ you can either kill the dragon link as a post, or just replace it with this url. Again, I DL'd this new one via HTTP. and viewed it start to finish.

nobody has commented to check for crop circles ?

rez , can u guesstimate the area where that thing was hovering ?

is it residential or open field ? if there is an open field , I'd go check it out

not sure what that bloody thing was , but a remote controlled device of some sort is what came to mind.

[ but haven't a clue as to wtf it may have been doing ]

FWIW ,balloon theory gets a no from me

Well in that direction you have a main road then behind it a large factory complex (mc brides) then behind that a fairly decent size woodland area + lakes (no fields as such) then furthur on a VERY large urban area full of houses

I'd say, and its just a "guesstimate" that it was over the large urban area,

when I saw it much closer downstairs It was probly over the large factory and way to the left of my field of view.

good point though, I never though of crop circles, escpesialy with it spinning n such.

Every time I click on the BellSouth link I get a "Bandwidth Exceeded" message. I would truly love to see it, though. Maybe if you can post different parts of the entire vid to the www.putfile.com site I may be able to see it. Cheers

Me and another chemist or two at my work laboratory have concluded that this object is a heart-shaped mylar balloon.

Well, This is frustrating! When I try to view the vid from the new link the Windows Media Player loads and spends about 10 minutes completing it's buffering, then delivers me a message that the vid file is corrupt.

Oh well, Rez, you still get my vote for WATS. Maybe one of these days this bloody great doorstop of a computer will work right!

Hi Trent,
This is very strange, on Monday 27th June, about 10.am in the N-East of England, I was laid in my garden enjoying the sun. I work evenings, so the day was mine.
I was laying face down reading a book.
A strange thought came into my head and I thought,"Look up at the falling machine!"
I know this sounds silly, but it's true!
I turned over and saw in the blue, cloudless sky, an object passing fast from the n-west to the s-east. It was similiar to the object in your video and it was soundless.
I have never told anyone about this as I don't believe in 'mysterious craft from other realms' and I just passed it off as something so high that I could not properly determine what it was.
My question is Trent, was there anything that made you look up from what you were doing? Did anything 'pop' into your mind to ask you to look up?
I'm a sceptic by nature, but still... I'm not closed-minded.
