You would rather accept anyone elses humanistic philosophy and ideologies and not look and research the one and only way to God !

So with that I would have to say that you are closed minded looking for anything or everything else but the Truth !

That makes absolutely NO sense at all! You completely contradicted yourself! You think I am close-minded because I accept other's philosophies and theology, but then you tell me that I wouldn't be if I accepted yours?!?

How do you take yourself seriously?

Why do you doubt faith as a director, guide and provider of an individuals walk and journey through life. This seems shallow and intolerant to me ?

Your attitude, that your way is the one and only way, is shallow and intolerant! Researching other ideas and believing that all religions have a bit of truth to them is neither shallow nor intolerant. You need to get a new dictionary.

I do not let others sway me into any other direction. That would be of a week mind. If you found the truth would you through it aside and keep looking ?

Has anyone ever tried to sway you in any other direction, or just tried to show you that your beliefs are no more valid than anyone else's? Your claim to worshipping the one true path is NO MORE VALID than a muslim's. You should stick to your beliefs, but don't be a hypocrite and expect others to turn from their's.

Can you put a Mason degree on a CV to say how advanced one is at freemasonary when looking for work? Just wondered and can you put it in a job application to say I belong to this society or is it coded for only members to find out? Its an interesting subject.

I didn't expect a non believer in Christ to understand this. That is the whole point. Like scripture says you are either for HIM or against HIM.

I would never expect or tell someone to abandon their faith without going directly to the source and doing some honest research. It's a decison that everyone has to make on their own. But you cannot hardly do that without researching.

Remember it's not about religion, it's about everlasting life. Two very different aspects and topics coming from the same bible.

To my interpretation,
the Scriptures are not holy.

They can't be.

Why ? because they use a medium
named "man" and man is not made holy.

Therefore, the voice of God,
in pure rhetorics, may be wholly,
but not his transcription.

Therefore, there is no guilt
at doubting the transcription
of a being that is not holy.

If god speaks to your mind,
than that is holy.

But it would make sense
to me that a "God" (again, pure rhetorics),
would use man to transcribe his thoughts,
because I don't think his intentions
would be that people kill each others over
a darn book.

Al this, added with the fact that history
proves that the Bible was assembled circa
325, makes that there is no point
of feeling all turned down because
some other spit on te bible.

Nothing prove that thecouncil of 325, which
isn't historicallly recorded as a holy council,
were in place to be able to separate
books from false prophets from legitimate
books.

So my suggestion is that you
take or leave what you like about
the Bible.

You will notice that general moral logics
make that people embrace the sayings
of Jesus much more easily than many other
parts of the Bible, if that can be a sign
that it's a pretty #ed up book.

This said....keep in mind that
VERY ANCIENT jews were understanding
the Bible as a source of metaphores and symbols.

That is why they are cabbalistics interpretations
of the Bible.

Giving that these jews were there way before
325, and that logic make a lot of bible stories
ressemble parables more than anything that exist,
and that JESUS HIMSELF, not a writer, was apparently
using a lot of imaginary parables, from what was reported
by oral tradition, than I would SUGGEST to consider the bible AS SUCH
and make a difference between moral stories and the history
of EVOLUTION.

Now....about why people choose god or a secret sect....

Most people have desires that they fulfill the best they can with what is out there.

I personally think that TRUTH = NO TRUTH = ALL IS TRUTH,
so I am not that bothered about what people do with their lives.

I try not be afraid of death (not think about it),
and I would figure that evil masonic reptilians
are facing the same fate as me, as they are subordinated
to living within this fatal universe, also slightly
moving toward its death.

Time being merely a momentary thing (!),
than I would suggest evil reptilians to stop
bothering, stop, and breathe a little while
they still can.

Allrite ?

And to you Lucifer: I think you can lower down the thermostat.

Thank you,

Cedric PhiPhi

Let's make an analogy here then to test your own hypthosis.

"Holy" by Merriam Webster:

1 : exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness

Replace "bible" with "philosophy", replace "Jesus" with "Plato".

Your own arguement falls in upon itself.

I believe I just did.

Could you not use the "enter" button so much to spread the page? Jeez, or should I say "Plat"?

Cent, that's not worth much, can't even buy a small candy with it, am I to understand that you are here just to disrupt and when your basis of arguement is questioned you ignore it?

I am all cool with analogies.

>>>>"Holy" by Merriam Webster:

Ok....Let's be anal retentive about analogy:

Here I am rewritting your definition with
a portion of my own text:

Man: 1. exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness

Does that make sense?

The fact that the voice was passed unto man
so that he can write scriptures makes the bible
unholy.

The message is.

Not the bible.

Even far less a bible that is reproduced my mechanical systems.

If there is ever a holy message from God,
well, let me be cheese for an instant, (only
true religious would understand this),
it is spoken true your heart.

And the bible would only be
a simulacre that helps guide you
into seeking that holy voice hidden
beneath you. Hence, it is not sacred
in itself (and worth condamnation
if the sacred voice within you responds
ackwardly to some of its passages).

>>>>Replace "bible" with "philosophy"

Devoting yourself to the quest of thought
as holy ? That would be sacrilegous.

Philosophy is process launched by mankind.

>>>replace "Jesus" with "Plato".

Too strong an ego.
Dyogene was close to sainthood.

But yet...only a man.

Hey,

first, I'm not a moderator. I am allowed to go take a piss.
(or not, depending how you read it)

second, I read many threads at once.

third, you are sending bad magic(k), man.
stop picking on me, trying to ridiculize
me when you know so well that I can't
return the favor at risks of receiving
a second ATS alert like I just received.

You seem more like a
bully's day off.

If you can't accept my vulgarization of W. Benjamin, Wittgenstein, or the likes, than go read your bible, what can I say.

I never refuted that my argument was an interpretation,
but do not accuse me of inventing that interpretation.

Now you want me to read the Bible? You were dissing it just a short time ago.

C'mon man, if you want to debate, at least make me work up a little sweat.

You're going down in flames.

I hope you have fire insurance.

So, you're dissing your own philosophy now as much as the one you dissed before?

That was the basis of your whole arguement.

If so, what the hell is your point?

To unrule the kinfdom of God.

Of course.

Thought that was obvious.
