bible. He directly said - 'give to Ceaser what is Ceaser's and give to God
what is God's' when asked about paying taxes to gov'ts that were
unfair. In other words, pay your taxes even though you disapprove
of the government. I'm here for a higher purpose, to deal with your
souls. His followers were going to make him King and he left
wanting no part of politics.

Christ wouldn't have bothered to bring up politics or flag burning,
not even in metaphores. None of his metaphores had anything
to do with 'anti-government revolutionary' behavior. And his
was an occupied country with the occupiers not behaving well towards
the people. The metaphores all had to do with the SOUL.

You seem to have a romantic notion of 'revolutionary'.
Christ wasn't political at all. Not at all.
Having a fantasy of him in a barret burning a flag is funny, but
not historically accurate.

So as we see Military goods outstrip commercial earnings by 5 Billion Dollars - meaning that if tomorrow suddenly all Wars that USA is involved in (and Will be involved in) End, Boeing can simply close down the shop. Especially since 9-11 Civilan Aircraft production has fallen severly.

As I said, when my hubby emails back I'll post the official % of what
Boeing works on.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. America NEEDS defense
spending. If we were stupid and dropped it all .... we wouldn't

people employed as well. Without those people being employed
they wouldn't pay taxes and aaaaaaaaaall those billions in us $$$
wouldn't be going overseas in aid.

If Jesus is going to burn anything its the future Babylon, REVELATION 16,17,18. Babylon is Iraq where the river Euphaties lies. It won't be about burning of a flag but I bet all flags there will be gone. Yes Babylon has had a history of curruption that is where the garden of eden is situated and the evil spirits play their political games, no wonder its currupt in past present and future. God loves every body and every nation but sometimes if the whole world is threatened or the existance of his chosen people he will destroy that nation for the sake of the world he loves.

Best if no one burns any flags as they so oftenly show the American flags being burned on TV.

He challenged the authority of the day by pointing out all the wretched hypocrisy. The truth is like salt being poured into a gaping wound. He wasn't crucified for being passive. Most people have a fairy tale notion of Jesus. He was most definitely a revolutionary (and yes Flyers Fan, he did point out that if you owe tax to the government, pay it. That was the law then as it is today. That doesn't change the fact that he spoke to truth to power and was viciously murdered for it.)

Jesus would be way down with America. And is.

Also, I am against the burning of the American flag. Why do it?

Here's a solution for all the flag burners

Take the flag, put under shirt, go to a corporation, use toilet, insert flag, flush..laugh
Now thats protest in action.

You burn a flag, then there is nothing left.
Flush a flag, and you get a feces flowing flood of destruction.

Or here's another one. Just find every flag you can, and spray paint
"MADE IN CHINA" on it, since its the truth

Actually, he challenged the RELIGIOUS authority of the day.
They didn't politically run the country. The occupiers did. Absolutely.
The religious authorities had to answer to the occupiers - Rome.
The only thing he said about them was to 'give to Ceaser what

He was peaceful.

of how when a candle is blown out it will still smoulder, and
Christ wouldn't even extinguish the smoldering candle ...
(actually, that sounds kinda' buddhist .... but it really is in the bible

He was crucified because the RELIGIOUS authorities were
jealous of him. He was actually holy and they weren't. He
enjoyed the hosanna's of the people. He rode the donkey
into Jeruselem with palms being thrown on the ground in
front of him. This was prophecy fulfilled that He was their
true king ... the religious authorities saw their religious power
being taken away and they were jealous and scared of losing
their positions.

That doesn't change the fact that he spoke to truth
to power and was viciously murdered for it.

He spoke the truth about those in charge of RELIGION.
He never spoke about those in charge of his country politically
nor the occupiers except that one time when he was asked
about paying taxes to the corrupt gov't. (which he said to pay)

Jesus wasn't a political revolutionary. He was (and IS)
the Christ. He came for souls, not politics. He ran from being
crowned king. He wouldn't burn flags. He wouldn't go to
the UN and make speeches about this or that ... He's be
with the people and He'd be concerned with their SOULS
not their countries' politics. He healed the servent of the
occuping soldier just as he healed the 'good' Jews. He
taught the Samaritan woman at the well, something Jews
wouldn't do - speak to Samaritans. But He saw a soul, not
a Samaritan. He saw souls, not countries or politics.

When souls are brought into the Light of Christ EVENTUALLY politics change .... Rome fed Christians to the lions and within a few
hundred years most Romans became Christian and the
practice stopped because if it kept up most of the city
would be feeding itself to the lions.


Side note - an excellent book to read is 'Life of Christ' by
Fulton Sheen. Wonderful book. Every page is a breath
of fresh air to the soul. Awesome!

Hmmmm...I have clearly posted the Numbers that speak for Themselves.

Boeing is the LARGEST Pentagon Military Contractor, meaning 20% cant be "just" for defence.

Actually it could be. Just because Boeing gets many Pentagon
contracts doesn't mean that the private sector (planes and
space) doesn't get just as much if not more. How much the
Pentagon puts out doesn't change the fact that Boeing has
two other sectors - commercial and space - that also have
mega-numbers of dollars going through them.

Even if it were 100% it would be fine with me. America
NEEDS defense and Boeing (and others) meet that need.
I wouldn't have a problem with even 100% of Boeing
being defense related.

You spoke very eloquently on Jesus.

You said one important thing amid the vast recitation, when one's spiritual beliefs come online, their political beliefs change things. That is the truth.

Jesus was a revolutionary. He spoke out against hypocrisy, which strikes us all in the gut and upfront - if we're listening.
