help a stupid noob

hey people im a big noob i cant find how to put a picure at the place where it says what member posted what.... i wanna put a soviet union flag there but cant find how i found the place where to up load but i dont think it did anything... and i dont know how to post pictures so plzzz help me with that 2.... please help me and if u can then just post screen captures that can help.... thx

Hey Russiankid, I think you mean an avatar like the War of the Worlds image under my username.
