I'm somewhat aware of the bird flu threat, but I know little about it. I've read that all birds are thought to be susceptible to infection with the virus. Is this true?

About a week ago at work (a naval installation) I noticed two small dead birds near the front entrance of my building lying about a foot from each other. They were very similar to each other except that one had some purple and the other some other other color I can't recall. There was no blood or any obvious injury, but both birds appeared to be unusually arched. About five feet away from the two birds was a fly lying on its back. I though it was rather strange so I reported it to our building coordinator. Some folks came by to pick up the birds, but I haven't heard anything since.

Whether or not it's something to be worried about, I thought I'd post it here for anyone that may be interested.

Edited for spelling.
