Jedis have the ability of the jedi mindtrick. Harry Potter and his wizard fellows have paranormal abilities. "Aliens" when encountered seem to have
similar powers. I believe I read somewhere that practicing these mind powers were strictly against God...now in books, movies, the much celebrated
Halloween, we are encouraging people to try telepathy, meditate, etc...another example of demonic powers misleading us?

This would only be the case for those believing in the Christian/Catholic based g_d. Any others (pagan wiccan buddist) would not feel the same way as
they take these powers as gifts given by their g_ds.

Good point. I think I'll investigate the history of paranormal abilities, see if I find any origins stating why they are good/bad or whatever.
