I say "partially" because Daimler-Benz I don't think owns all of Chrysler, it is merged with it (i.e. Daimler-Chrysler now), which means that the Chrysler portion is American-owned.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought we had surrendered in Iraq !


the french did business, after the sanctions, with SADDAM HUSSEIN, I think they'll take our money as well. You really think they were against our going into Iraq on moral grounds ? They needed time to get rid of the evidence of how much dirty dealing they were doing !

Nothing personal for our overseas members, but I don't think it's a good idea buy technology for the military from overseas. If you buy it from another country, that means you have at least on country that knows where your weaknesses are! That can be dangerous, today's allie could turn into tommorow's enemy!
