Task Manager Windows XP Help!

I have a very big problem with my Windows XP home task manager. You know when you open it there's a toolbar on top for options? Well it's disapeared and im stuck in crapy program end task only. Maybe I presed a short cut key but is there any shortcut or anything I can do to get the toolbar back? Any help would be much appreciated.

reboot and see if that fixes it up

I´ve rebooted about 20 times and nothing... Any better advice?
