Hey, how you guys doing today? I just bought a telescope (with the help of this forum) and I wanted to know where I could print out an Space map, I noticed it didnt come with it, which sucks..lol..Anyone know a site? gotta have this in order to see the planets..thanks

lol, that site is very hard to use, I used it once for 20 minutes and got no where..pretty nice though for a scientist..lol

I often use the latest issue of "Sky and Telescpe" for my backyard observing

or you could use thier weekly "sky at a glace" skyandtelescope.com...

SOme great stuff for the beginning astronomer

I think demo version of Skymap might have printing capability. (at least it had ten years ago)

Here's one completely free program, it might be little harder to use than Skymap.

And you need multiple maps, some covering bigger areas and some covering smaller areas.

When I got my telescope it came with software that let you type your address in and the time/date and wham, a click and zoom real time sky map.

It is called Starrynight. It's not expensive and it's really cool, at least in my opinion.
