My ti 89 keys are sticking. I'm not sure if these keys are like a keyboard where you can just pry them off and put them back on. Anyone have any suggestions for cleaning these keys?

is this what you have? The number pad I believe is one piece layered under the plastic cover, it can be taken apart if your handy, but,,I wouldn't,,, I would suggest disconnecting the power supply and using a damp cloth to wipe the buttons and letting it dry face down so no moisture seeps into the circuit board.

Yeah, that's my model. Hmm, one piece plastic. It looks like I could unscrew it easilly enough if i had a jewish star shaped phillips head. I remember they have these kind of screws to prevent easy tampering. Do you know what kind screwdriver I would need to order?

A better alternative would might be to take it to a local computer shop and have them clean it under insurance that says if they # it up they'll buy me a new one. I'm not sure. Either way I wont do anything till my Calc II class is over.
