electro-thermal-chemical gun succesfully fires

What do you guys think of this weapon? Which gun are you in favor of EM or ETC gun ? I like the railgun, but at the sametime I like the ETC gun. They both fire very far, and have a lot of destructive power.

Fantastic weapons like this require fantastic effort to maintain.
A broken weapon system is about as effective as a big rock.

Instead of developing a rail gun. Invest in making that M1A1 tank get better gas mileage. From 1 mile for 1.5 gallons to say 2 miles for 1 gallon. Or ammunition for M16, M4 and M240 caseless. Less weight for that GI to carry.

You can drop an inert small bomb from outer space on a building; but, it still takes a GI with a rifle and bayonet to occupy that real estate.
