Has anybody ever come across an elite force going by this name ?

But I don't come across many elite forces in my day-to-day life.

Maybe some context to flesh out the original post? That could be useful.

and wonder if there is any substance to the stories that "soldiers" are trained to kill by thought alone.

Soldiers can actually will animals to drop dead.

Anybody have any knowledge of this ?

Well, i think there was a movie called Scanners that talked about this.
As far as it being real? Well if there really are people who can bend a spoon (don't know but i have heard) then you have to figure they could pop a artery or vein in you and kill you...
Also it is pretty well documented that the gov't. has been exploring Remote viewing since Viet Nam, so i would think they would probably be messing with other mind tricks also...but who knoes for sure.
