Infinite, I'm embarassed to admit that I don't know who the guy is. I think I've heard the name, but that's about it.
Obviously though, he must be much more well known in the UK. Regardless, I don't know how you, or anyone does it - get a person who is a political
figure, a see-er, someone well-known but controversial, etc....to just agree to answer questions. You really have a knack with people.
The interview was great, whether I knew who he was or not.

Well, you've given us one viewpoint on several issues and I might add, you've done it brillantly, now get an interview with someone who'll give us
an alternative viewpoint on the same issues.

George Galloway
There is clearly a huge body of people there who feel totally disenfranchised by the system and I think I was able to give voice to them, if only
temporarily.
An articulate and intelligent man who is willing to make a stand against ridiculous accusations from a country which is throwing stones from its
opaque glass house.
An excellent, albeit, short interview.

Either you understand personal freedom, or you're British.
Freedom of speach and the right to keep and bear firearms are cornerstones of American rights. While I may not agree with what you say, I will always
support your right to say it.
Mr.Galloway would throw you in jail. To me the guy is a vile little socialist, and much akin to something very unpleasant that I occasionally tread
in.

How would Galloway throw me in jail?
Also having the right to bear arms requires a massive leap of faith when it comes to the ability of man. Giving every man the right to bear arms is
assuming that every man is capable of such responsibilty.
If you have that much confidence in the collective responsibilty of humans then so be it. I, however, do not.

If you make a racial comment in Mr.Galloway's Britain, you go to jail - that does not constitute free speach in my book. Hence my comment about not
necessarily agreeing with what you say, but supporting your right to say it.
As for firearms ownership and "trusting" people to own guns. I trust the people far more than I would trust any government, and remember that if it
weren't for people owning guns and standing up to a unjust government, you wouldn't be typing in this forum, because the USA would not exist in its
current form. And which gun hating nation did we happen to overcome to achieve those freedoms, why of course it was the UK ! How ironic n'est ce pa
? There are 2 million legal uses of privately owned firearms in the US each year to defend the life of the owner or their immediate family, 97% do
not result in the discharge of any weapon. Four years ago, the wife of a close friend of ours was one of those people. Would YOU like to tell her
that she can't be trusted to have a gun any longer, and that next time she'll just have to die for the good of society.
You should also understand that all socialists hate the USA, and you can have little doubt that once Mr.Galloway got through munching on his last free
USDA steak and took the last pat on the back from some stupid Congressman, he would have got right back into form criticizing those "stupid, fat, war
loving Americans".
Watching America pander to the likes of Galloway is like watching a child enjoy the attention it is getting from a pedophile.
