During a routine inspection, navy officers arrested two Iraqi women hidden in a ship called the Laertis that sailed under a Marshall Islands flag.

January 17, 2003 A gunboat on a routine patrol off the north Gaza coast spotted a suspicious craft sailing in a restricted area. When it ignored warnings to halt, the crew shot at it, causing it to blow up. The craft had been rigged with explosives.

November 23, 2002 A naval command post in the Gaza Strip spotted a Palestinian fishing craft in a restricted area in Israel's territorial waters. A navy gunboat was sent to inspect the boat; its crew ignored calls to halt and blew up near the gunboat, wounding three navy sailors.

shows even with the ceasefire with the Palestinians and the Isrealis that terrorizm will still be a full part of life in that area of the world. this will never end.
