A friend of mine has e-published his experiences with "foo fighters" over the skies of Texas during WWII. (The cost of this ebook is 95 cents... I figured it might not hurt to mention it here -- haven't read it yet but just downloaded it.) This was something that a group of us encouraged him to do, since the number of WWII vets is very small and much of what they saw and experienced is being lost to us.

George is a great guy (bless his heart, he's not in good health these days.)

If Foo Fighters were seen over Texas during World War II, that does take something away from the theory that they were experimental Nazi aircraft...

If I had a credit card or a paypal account I would certainly pay to read your friend's e-book, especially as WW2 aviation is something which has always interested me. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the pilots who played such an important role in fighting for our freedom, and it's sad to hear that his health is not so good. I'm very grateful for all that he has done, and wish him well.
