In an interview aired on Pakistan's privately run GEO Television, a top Taleban commander "Mullah Akhtar Usmani" said that both Osama bin Laden and
the leader of the Taleban forces, Mullar Omar, are alive and well.
The US has offered $25m for Osama bin Laden's capture
A top Taleban commander has said in a television interview that Osama Bin Laden and Afghanistan's former Taleban leader Mullah Omar are alive and
"I am in contact with Mullah Omar and take directions from him," Mullah Akhtar Usmani told Pakistan's privately-run Geo television.
Pakistani observers are surprised at Geo TV's ability to interview a top Taleban commander at a time when members of the militia are targets of a
massive manhunt by the US-led coalition as well as Pakistani forces.
There is no way of independently verifying Mullah Usmani's claims.

Just in time to help out the proponents of the Patriot Act legislation, another unknown Mullah mumbles "Osama" through his mask to send us all
scurrying under the covers.
It seems like anyone wearing a black bedsheet can get attention nowdays. Maybe George and Don should start wearing black bandanas over their faces in
press conferences? Maybe if John Kerry had worn one, he could have won the election...
