Check out the link below, and type in "classified" in the search box. It details classified spening for the past 4 years. $138 billion spent on
classified projects in 2004 alone!!! Type in "F-1" and a list of aircraft projects and costs are shown, type in "F-117" or "B-2" and stealth
costs are detailed.
If you read the boxes it shows number of units purchased i.e number of airframes etc as an example if shows 6 F-35's purchased.
Unfortunately when you clickon the value of the classified projects you can't go any further!!

Some strange spending is shown under aircraft such as the F-12 - what is an F-12 and why would the airfroce be spending money on it?

Confirmation of the A-12 Avenger can be seen by typing in A-12.

3 contracts for ~30k each is probably a couple of initial design renderings/studies/models handed out to Grumman for a possible A-6 replacement....
Original Grumman Avenger was a great carrier based aircraft....
Did you check NG for press releases on the contract awards. Would also be in the Federal Register if not "black"....

The Navy's A-12 Avenger Advanced Technology Aircraft (ATA) was slated to replace current A-6s on aircraft carriers in the mid-1990's. Plans for the
A-12 called for incorporating more advanced stealthy characteristics than were used in the F-117A, as well as significantly greater payload
capabilities. The A-12 was designed to fly faster and further than the A-6E, and carry a large bomb-load in internal bomb-bays to reduce drag and
maintain a low radar cross-section.

This is an A-6:

Both of these are Navy planes (aircraft carrier planes).

Did anyone else spot the B-2A?
Wonder what changes are being made?
The details you get are interesting though, right down to the company or contractor themselves.

I believe that the lesser amounts are for funding the actual employment of the planes - for instance, and I won't name plane names, to fund the fuel
of those planes that are not in development.

Why the heck does lockheed get a $700 million "defense" contract for the space shuttle?
Also, there is a navy sub, a ssn with no number, but an aweful lot of money went to it. All subs have an ssn # even when under construction. The
seawolf was ssn-21 the carter ssn-23 etc., the only designation is.......SUBMARINE NUCLEAR-SSN, then you can't go any further. I wonder what that one
is? $7 BILLION over the 4 years listed alone!!!!!!!
I think it could be a new sub class in development, Electric Boat Corporation who builds all the subs got the contract and on there site it lists an
advanced concept sub, here is a link:

The Jointstars program is a survielance aircraft and is manned, it IS NOT a UAV. The aircraft is an E-8, a modified Boeing 707, and is being built to
incorporate new advanced radar equipment.

The A-3 is an OLD Navy plane that hasn't been flown in years. It used to be called the Whale because it was so big. It last flew in 1991.

Hoop! just realised the link doesn't work you have to type disc in when you get there and of course I also just realised that disc probably stand for
not discernable as in the first box before the numbers.
My bad, sorry.

Did you watch the video? it uses the technology which fires a round at an incoming RPG or round and about 3 meters from the vehicle, the round from
the vehicle explodes which simulatenously detonates the incoming explosion.
