Well, I like to think ATS is more than that, we have pissing contests, cat fights, hissy fits and flame wars, on top of the popularity contests.

And drama -- lots of drama.

Oh, and some stuff on conspiracies, the paranormal and other not-so-mainstream subjects. That is, when people find time for those things.

But as far as elections are concerned, that's pretty much the way all elections work.

After all, if only unpopular people were elected, that would tend to cast some doubt on the validity of the polls, wouldn't it?

On the bright side, “popular” people who are elected but then screw up have a way of becoming unpopular, so it all tends to balance out in the end.

...because I only picked one winner. But congrats to all those that won. And to those that came in second or third, don't worry, you'll get another chance in three months.

Now if somebody will please explain what these councilors are supposed to do to make ATS a better place, I'm all ears.

Well I am back from my trip, in one piece even

So I look at the results and see we have new council members and first I would like to congratulate all who voted, ran, and those who won.

Well I saw I got 21% AFTER I had already dropped out and I am honored. I will continue my crusade against the Tulipwalker Agenda and I will keep em honest.

Thanks to those who voted for me, it really says that there is hope for ATS if a right wing nut case like me can get 21% after he drops out.
