What would be your Predictions for the coming years?
* DO you think we will have world war 3 within the next 20 years?
* Will Saddam WMD be found by next year?
* Will we make alian contact?...........ect......

Just intrested to know how people see the world in a decade or so.......

Be warned that the following are only my opinions, not an attempt at persuasion! No offense intended!

I wouldn't be surprised if the latest mission to mars actually finds something useful in Dec, and relevant to proof of past martian life!

The bloody reign of King "W" will continue. The president & his law-crunching minions (e.g. Ashcroft) will probably succeed in disrupting normal life for every single American. More people will agree with Al Gore that the current administration has really gone too far. I'm expecting another voting scandal, particularly if it involves any member of the Bush family and John Kerry.

More conflicting "facts" will be disclosed regarding the horrible tragedy of 9/11, further insulting the families of the victims. More people will doubt the "official story".

The stormy weather patterns will continue to be correlated with the terror threat level, and HAARP's public signal will continue to be faked.

Oh, and if things continue the way they have all week, the rest of August will see a significant increase in foreign and domestic terrorist attacks.

1. The Bush administration will have a rather quick, unexpected (to some) demise before or during a delayed election 2004-2005

2. Many of the Homeland Security and Patriot Act measures will be rescinded, and irrevocable legislation and procedures will be put in place to ensure that no administration can overstep its limitations of authority with Congress again

3. There will be a change in the government of Israel

4. There will be a reduction in the acceleration of radical Islamism, owing to the rise of a more moderate form of the religion

5. A stronger form of international relations will deveop out of the failures of the UN, and nations not subscribing to principal treaties will be boycotted as never before

6. The gradual global power shift east and south will continue

7. There will be no upsurge in paranormal or alien activity

8. There will be an increased concentration at a global level on basic health and education measures for all populations

Getting The Constitution working again sans Patriot Act would be a blessing. The way Ashcroft is advertising it, even if the purpose wasn't supposed to be bad, the ideals behind it are bad. To counter terrorism the government has the right to enforce personal terror on individual victims without any trace. Why would this be a good thing? Why would Ashcroft so heavily promote it? Why weren't Congress allowed to read it?

What's the motive?

What would lead one to think things will turn out successful? Bush is already bragging about 2004, even if he's capped...woo hoo, we'll get another Secret Society Brother.

I'd like for things to clear up, I really would. It'd be such a blessing. For the things to happen like you said, it'll be up to the people, and I don't think most people have a clue about the mess we're in.

It is up to the people with knowledge to remove the incumbent administration for the good of themselves and the many ignorant.

This is actually a really interesting pehnomenon.

For the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer, the rich need more poor to get rich off, and treating people as mushrooms is good policy in raising a nation of powerless consuming sheep, like we talked about elsewhere.

Don't ever be fooled by statistics on 'average standards of living'. Look at the lowest quartile and what is going on there.

Here are my predictions for the next 10 years...roughly...

1: The Bush Administration will suffer a horrible defeat to Hillary Clinton in 2004
2: Arnold will win the race for governor and throughout his tenor countless mentions will be made by the media linking his leadership and his movie rolls
3: Gary Coleman will get his own talk show after not winning the election for governor of Cali--which will be cancelled shortly thereafter
4: No WMD's will be found, but by then Bush will have a brand, spankin' new enemy
5: We will come close to making alien contact, but the aliens will change their minds after discovering that humans just aren't worth the hassle
6: Men will become the "woman" of the house while the female becomes the "man" of the house
7: Pacifiers will come back into style
8: The GOP will officially change their party name to The Reich (oooooooh) and somehow will convince American's that it's a good thing
9: Jason Vs. Freddy 6 will be released
10: Ben Affleck will become a nobody and no one will really care

No, as an organized effort, we will not make ET contact.

The decision to release information about life on Mars will come over a 20 year period. Groupings of life forms are as follows. Sandmaries, Marmies, Marrockies and Microtechs for starters. Discovery of smaller tracks crossing the Pathfinder's tracks half the size and half the wheel base. Magnificient Statues, Monuments and structures on Mars will be released to the public in the next 20 years. The varification of water, microbes and fossils will be presented to the public on the next successful Mars mission.

I think MaskedAvatar probably had the best assessment of the situation, but I'll throw my two cents in.

• 2004 - 2008: Having secured his 2nd term with warfare, Bush now decides to leave the Oval Office with a legacy of peace. No new countries are invaded, though hostilities between the U.S., Iran, Syria, and North Korea do increase. China eventually steps in and slaps North Korea around, or takes over after the death of Kim Il Jung. Iran and Syria are left to stew, and become the two main hotspots for Muslim extremists. The other 99% of Muslims out there eventually get fed up with the extremists and a schism fractures Islam in the same that Protestants split off of the Catholics. The U.N. remains a joke. Iraq teeters on the brink of being the next Japan, or the next Ethiopia... it all depends upon the next president, because Bush at this point is just going to play it cool at Camp David.
  
• 2008 - Inexplicably, the One World Government never occurs... A new election in the U.S. puts some other arse in office. People quickly forget Bush, and now worry that the new guy (or girl) will throw the whole country in the gutter.
  
• 2009 - The next U.S. President either invests a ton of money and effort into rebuilding Iraq into a successful, democratic, capitolistic market, or throws in the towel, and let's it become the next country you see Sally Struthers standing in front of on daytime television. "For pennies a day, you can feed and water an Iraqi child."
  
• 2010 - FAA passes legislation restricting the use of Aerial Vehicles (like the Air Cars) to licensed pilots. In order to help prevent someone from stealing a flying bomb, each air-car is required to have a $100,000+ ignition security system that can be easily defeated by a $20 kit from Radio Shack. The cars become too expensive and restricted to really take off in the market, and the venture collapses into the realm of Personal Jets and other comparably priced luxury items.
  
• 2011 - Huge crowds of people gather on New Years Eve, expecting either a visitation from Aliens, God, Satan, Elvis, or Whatever.... Police are sent out in force to help contain the inevitable riots. All Hospitals are at triple-staffing in expectation of injuries from the riots. Almost no rioting occurs, the police turn out to be largely uneeded, and the hospitals have only the normal traffic for a New Years Eve. Someone then points out that it must be the END of 2012 when the bad stuff happens.
  
• 2012 - Amazingly, the One World Government still hasn't happened. The Libra, an unknown from Texas, runs for the office of President, amassing a huge number of followers in the Independant Party. Disgusted Republicans and Democrats alike consider him to be what Perot should have been. In a narrow victory against the incumbant, the Libra wins the Presidency. On New Years, huge crowds of people gather to await the end of the World, which once again doesn't happen. Disappointed, people go about their normal lives.
  
• 2013 - Inexplicably, the Agriculture Industry has a huge boost. Particularly in the Potato Sector. The Libra takes a very mild approach to the Presidency, some see him as possibly even a good natured lame duck. However, after nearly a decade of warfare, people are inclined to let a sleeping duck lay, and in--
  
• 2016 - The Libra is re-elected by a wide margin when the opposing candidates are discredited. They claim he was "trying to take over the world, and using potatoes to do it!" The opposing candidates are given residence in mental facilities.
  
• 2019 - The Libra institutes his Master Plan, and achieves the state of World Dictator. Very little changes except that, suddenly, a lot of people are working on potato farms and yam farms.
  
• 2020 - 2037 - A Golden Age of Worldwide Peace and Prosperity during The Libra's reign. Humankind has by now visited all areas of the Solar System, and has explored many regions of the Asteroid Belt. An enormous Intersteller Craft is built in orbit around the Earth, utilizing massive fission drives. The craft itself, in order to avoid crashing, is built with the Unix operating system. Humanity prepares to celebrate the first ship to a neighboring star system.
  
• 2038 - Every Unix System in existance crashes. The interstellar space ship explodes in orbit, irradiating the entire planet's atmosphere. Humanity retreats underground to escape the deadly radiation... within a few generations, a post apocalyptic world with three-headed mutants and giant ants rule the Wastelands!
  

I have it on the highest authority that this is all going to come to pass.

The title of most powerful nation will shift.

A new technology company will be the top dog in the world wide economy, providing products ranging from office supplies to aerospace vehicles.

New revolutionary technology will be developed and made widespread.

A powerful nation will force the or company U.S. to reveal to the public all its secrets. (probably not until the 2060s though.)

Fossil fuels and other polutant energy sources will be outlawed.

By 2040 there will be a Lunar base.

Energy teleporters will be developed, coincidentaly quantum teleportation on animals and humans will be against the law and be considered murder.

Couples who cannot have children through sexual reproduction will have the choice to blend (have the genetic materials of both participants mixed than put into a modified cloner, thus creating a new person, just like sexual reproduction.)

Western religion will try to fight the use of certain new technology.

Those are my predictions, though I cant predict the future
(though sometimes I see glimses.) anyways, yeah.

Predicted on Art Bell's yearly prediction show 1/1/06 that Lumeria would be discovered in the Western part of the United States in 2006. Lumeria has been discovered and information of it's location will be released by me in segments to prevent looting and similar happenings like the Gold Rush of 1849.
