Who started ATS?

Many thanks to Simon Gray for developing ATS. I know that this site provides many hours of pleasure, interest and thought for many people. And as for being a "tool" of British Intelligence, well let's just say that if Simon were to order a martini, I think I could guess that he'd order it "shaken, not stirred".

Dang, I only been here since like 1998, maybe 1999. I remember ATS without the forums though, use to go through and read all the stuff it had. Mainly Philly Project, but was still a cool site. But now it is a huge force on the internet, google us people, we are everywhere!!!!!!

And Simon is the dude who made it as far as I know, although SO has been doing stuff as the Super Hero of ATS with the Ban Hammer.
