I sit in the darkness alone
save for the cool, clean, sly
rythms and sensuous melodies
of Miles asking me "So What"?
and the answer from Coltranes'
razor sharp "axe" shouting out "A
Love Supreme". I am content.

A bit short perhaps and enigmatic to anyone not
into classic jazz~To thos ein the know, it makes sense.

I can't believe there are no other Jazz lovers out there or Jazz-curious types.
Come on, people, help me out here. Just a couple of replies would maybe get a discussion going and then, who knows, we might start a movement!

"When they study our civilization two thousand years from now, there will be three things that Americans will be known for: the Constitution, baseball and jazz music. They're the three most beautiful things Americans have ever created." Gerald Early

...And just to tweak your interest a little, here a few links to Jazz web sites around the internet. Take a look, better yet, take a listen and then let's talk.
