An acknowledged al-Kaida operative has been arrested in California's Central Valley in the town of Lodi, 40 miles south of the State Capitol (Sacramento).

LODI, Calif. (AP)- A terrorism investigation in this quiet farming town has led to the arrests of a father and son who said he trained at an al-Qaida camp in Pakistan for potential attacks on U.S. hospitals and supermarkets, authorities said.

Wow. And he was at the camp 2003 and 2004 so he was well aware of the state of the world. I can (a bit) understand people who maybe trained in Afghanistan years and years ago.
