Cant get seti to install

Whats up guys. I can't get seti to install on my comp for some reason. I've had it running before so i dont know why it wont install now. I'm trying to install version 3.08, i'm running windows XP, i know i downloaded the right one. When i try to run the install it gives me a windows 16 bit error or whatever.

Thats cuz they have shut down the old and are using whats called Boinc. Heres a couple of threads that will help get you going.

I'm not sure if that is the problem. I had to have my pc re-formatted a few weeks back, and I managed to download and install SETI@home with no problems. That being said, I'm afraid I have no idea what the problem would be with Distortion's instillation sorry
