June 6 th, 2006 = 6/6/6

I can't say that i believe any of the hype surrounding this day....bible codes, governments, etc.... or that earthquakes will happen, or asteroids will hit, or messiahs will be born, but i was thinking about all of the recent terrorist attacks....9/11, 7/7. My hope is that this day will not be targeted for another attack somewhere, being the date 6/6/06. I doubt anything will happen, yet i am still a little worried. Everyone should keep an eye open for any suspicious behaviour just to be safe.

Maybe even the recent arrests in Toronto were to stop a potential 6/6/06, which would would mean that we're finally getting a grasp on this whole terrorist thing. I hope so, but i will still feel better when the day is over.

Yes, but you gotta admit with all these terrorist attacks revolving around numerically similar dates, the potential for another attack must be considered, if even slightly.

Of course we will still be here, lets just hope that the terrorists don't see this date as another opportunity to do harm.

But basically according to the Christian doctrine "the end of times" is going to come in the new millennium which makes it the first 6/6/6 of this millennium, thus all the hype.

The real concern is not how christians interpret this numerology but how the every-day muslim terrorist interprets it. They love numbers 911=11:9 is a verse in the Koran that speaks of withdrawing mercy from the infidels.

I beleive it is this verse you are talking about

I don't see any mention of infidels here, not in the sense you're speaking about anyway. It merely says that a human being is nothing without God's mercy and if it is withdrawn from him, he shall fall into despair. Maybe there's another translation which mentions flight 93 and something about the twin towers.

Its humorous how many " End of the World " dates there has been over the ages. Every time, some people will panic, some will not, and every time, for the passed, however many thousand years people have been around, nothing has happened. So, if that didnt answer your question, yes I feel it is just another calander date.

Also, something to note, it is not 6/6/06 on all calanders, so as you prepare for the END OF THE WORLD, just remember, that the alignment of 6/6/06 is simply because of what you consider the start of the " Year " and the end of the " Year."
