Deep Throat = American Patriot

You're right, people should never report malfeasance by .gov officials, how terrible. Why if people started exposing crooked politicians, we might end up with a functioning democracy or something. Can't have that.

Nixon was a guy using the national security apparatus to spy on his political opponents and then cover it up.
He should have been hanged as a traitor, period.

I don't think he was a snitch. He saw corruption and he did what he could to bring an end to it. Had he openly blown the whistle the machine would have destroyed him.
