I hope Conan the Nazi wins too. He knows nothing about politics and I can't wait until California falls flat on its face from the reign of AH-NOLD ze Uber Fuhrer.

You know his father was a real Nazi. No wonder he's a republican, the closet you can get without being a Nazi.

Some political operatives assume Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Nazi background" could haunt him in a potential gubernatorial campaign, but it's clear the actor and bodybuilder has rejected that part of Austrian history.

Rabbi Marvin Hier, dean and founder of the Wiesenthal Center, said Schwarzenegger has been a generous donor to the Jewish human rights organization -- "every time he does a movie, he writes a check" -- and has been granted its National Leadership Award for his humanitarian work.

"It's not a proud moment for anyone when you learn your father was a member of the Nazi Party," Hier said in an interview. "But Arnold is not his father, and Arnold has to be judged for who he is. I have always found him to be interested in the issues of the museum. He has been very friendly and supportive."

Listen, CA was ruined by the repugnants. They never got over the fact that the state turned Dem that's why Bush refused to put a price cap on the electricity scam during CA's rolling black outs...as punishment. Then, the recall was funded by who? A repugnant FELON.

Bunch of hypocritical Nazis

Bwahahahaaaaa!
what ever.

California is being choked to death by high taxes, stupid laws, and idiot democrats.

i'd actually move there if they lowered the taxes and dropped some of the stupid laws they have, but hey, who cares.

Wow that's over the top... What makes you think the President can put a "cap" on electricity prices?! They are set by the market with limited controls afforded by the P.U.C.s at the STATE level.

The controls at the STATE level in California are in the hands of DEMOCRATS.

'nuff said.

The liberal banner is always painted in the blood of those who they keep dependent upon them...

Per the California state constitution, in the event of a recall of a sitting govenor, the Lt.govenor is to assume the post and fullfill the remaining length of that term.

So you see the "repugnants" (thanks for not suing me COL!!) are once again attempting to surcumvent the entire electorial process as well as ignoring the California state constitution, to ensure that they get their own way.

Nothing new here for those of us who know what really happened in Florida!! I would not be surprised if the black democrats in California suddenly had their voting status changed to make it look as if we're all felons, just as it happened for so many good law abiding folks in Florida 3 years ago.

I have an old friend there, a fellow darkgreen ex-Marine that I served with in Lebanon, who has been trying to have his voting status reinstated ever since the 2000 elections. Even though there are no records of his ever being incarcerated he has been given the run-around trying to get this injustice reversed. He's paying a lawyer out of his own pocket and has spent thousands of his own $$$$'s fighting with the Florida and Dade County officials, to no avail.

Yes your GOP officials are hard at work keeping law abiding citizens from voting because they know that there are more registered democrat voters in this country than there are registered republicans, by almost 3 to 1. The GOP knows they can't win a fair fight so they've resorted to underhanded dirty tricks and political wranglings to ensure that they'll get the majority at the polls they'll need to win.

So much for a fair and level playing field. What's next... machine gun nests in front of the polling place? Show your elephant button at the curb or risk being mowed down as you approach the doors?? They'll manipulate the media and call it a drive by shooting!!

The scales of justice are never equally balanced, and the bitch must be blindfolded to keep her from turning states evidence!!!

Colonel, I love how you just sidestepped Springers explanation of elec. pricing.

Your rebuttal: The only stupid law there is no smoking in bars. The truth is palin and simple but you facist nazis continue to stick your head in the sand.

Priceless! (And stereotypical liberal debate tactics)

Now, that's a damn shame. And these repugnant people have the NERVE to call themselves "American."

Arnold is the perfect GOP Candidate: All Image,No Substance, and Nazi/facist tendencies.

USMC, I believe you to be wrong. Could you explain how it is 'illegal'?

I searched the Cali Constitution but couldn't find anything like what you said.

I found this in ARTICLE 2:
SEC. 17. If recall of the Governor or Secretary of State is initiated, the recall duties of that office shall be performed by the Lieutenant Governor or Controller, respectively.

But, that's just for 'recall duties'

ARTICLE 2 says it covers "VOTING, INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM, AND RECALL"

Am I looking in the wrong place? (And since when do Dems care about a constitution???
)

Ahem, Colonel, first off, the republicans arent alone, the Democrats lie, cheat steal, and sell thierm people into slavery. Get over it, liberals rape just as the republicans do, difference being...the liberals delude people into thinking they are kind hearted humanitarians raping, lying, and cheating to benefit the greater good.

That said, as a native of Cali and lived there till 98, the energy crisis was brought on by deregulating the utilities industry, something that the dems had a hardon for, seeing how they were hellbent on de monopolizing PG and E. So, yes, Davis #ed that one up big time, and of course Bush didnt give the ok for price caps. Not only were his hommies in Enron against it, but further more, aiding California in a crisis that was brought on by its most incompetant and senile and LIBERAL govornment was a lesson to states who were thinking of trying something stupid like utility deregulation.

So yes, Davis is a sorry excuse for a govornor and a waste of chromosones and flesh, and should get kicked out of his office for destroying what used to be the only styate in the union that was so wealthy and prosperous, it could have become its own country. SDo, either a republican will take his place, or a democrat, either way it doesnt really matter. California has many other problems that contributed: an overtaxed healthcare system funded by the state that is drained from the strain of the loads of illegals that swarm the borders, high taxes and sjyrocketing property values that are driving the middle class out, draconian laws against smoking that have kileld the bars and clubs industry, gas taxes, ect. Mis management of the golden state for the past 15 years destroyed it. It will take one hell of a gov to restore it.

Of course, you're gonna blame all that on the Dems. But, let me point out the criminals so you know that I just don't speak rhetoric: Oliver North, John Poindexter, crybaby David Issa, Dubya (if snorting coke is a felony), et al. How many criminals do you need ot say your party is filled with a bunch of thugs?

And Colonel once again is oblivious to the facts so why argue with him anymore. The Dems blew it. Nuff said

Oh, that's right. Just like a repugnant. We end this debate because YOU SAY SO.

No, I don't THINK so.

I'm fed up with you repugnants who think you can just bully your way around b/c you believe you have some magical divine right to do so. The recall is a fraud set up by the repugnants who eat their own for power.

and you can read the TRUTH right here:
