Just rember Colonel everybody signed the recall, not just republicans. Nobody likes Davis. He has the lowest approval ratings I have ever seen. Please bring Pete Wilson back, life was good with a republican in office.

Then, Enron wouldn't have been needed? Oh, so its ok for repugnants and friends to commit FRAUD on the people....just blame a Dem when you're thru.

And of course no one likes Davis with all the repugnant propoganda about on the repugnant controlled airwaves.

lol you amuse me. first you make me laugh then you make me think "wait, he's being serious" and that worries me.

you actually believe the things you're trying to convince us of. SCARY!

take the aluminum foil off your head already. you're delusional.

No Colonel, nobody likes him because he trashed California. You may want to come out and take a look around, before you start talking about something you know nothing about.
Oh but that would mean facing the truth about Davis, and we can't have that now can we. Keep the blinders on my friend,we wouldn't want you to see the whole picture.

Which leads to the conclusion that, if repugnants don't get their way by the rules, you LIE, CHEAT, and do ANYTHING to subvert the process.

1) He still beat the repugnant
2) its a bad contract. So what? Don't repugnants do the same?
3) I don't fiind value in opinion articles telling me what to think.

no he cant, he lets his hatred and personal feelings get in the way. its the surest way to ensure a person stays ignorant. he feels he is so right that it has clouded his vision fromthe truth.

"well it might be legal but the republican is a felon" and other such comments are just example of this. as if no democrat has ever done wrong.

but this leads me to a question for colonel.

yeah you colonel. are you under the impression that democrats never do anything underhanded or because you support them their actions are justified to you?

since both sides do the same thing even if you wont admit it why is one sides excused and the other is not?

ok thats two question but i could ask many more but i wont. lets keep it simple for the colonel.

Hmmm, funny most of your posts are "opinion" articles. Like I said earlier,'keep the blinders on". I suppose you want us all to think like you .

i'm only going to comment on two and three...

as for two i suppose thats as far as you're going to go to admit democrats doing bad things. i do appreciate you waking up to this concept though.

as for three i dont blame you but i dont find value is people's posts who refuse to see the truth for what it is. you're just starting to see the truth. you dont like it but you're seeing it. maybe!

The millionaire congressman who largely funded the effort to recall Gov. Gray Davis abruptly pulled out of the race to replace him Thursday, a day after actor Arnold Schwarzenegger jumped in.

Republican Rep. Darrell Issa (news, bio, voting record), who made his fortune selling car alarms and pumped $1.7 million of his own money into the recall effort, announced he would not run in a tearful news conference.

Standing outside the Registrar of Voters office, Issa said instead of running in the Oct. 7 recall election, he will remain in Congress so he can work toward peace in the Middle East.

"I will continue with my wife's support to fund the effort to recall Gov. Gray Davis and when it's over we will return to Congress to support President Bush effort for Middle East peace," Issa said.

Issa was one of the first candidates to declare his intention to oust Davis.

lol i see you understand very little about how the system works. what is happening in california cannot be applied to the other 49 states. there are other processes in place to remove presidents.

if you feel so strongly about removing him then get busy and start finding out what you need to do to remove him.

but for heavans sake stop whining about it if you arent going to take any action!

californians are taking action, that's a huge step above what you're doing. at least they're doing something about it. what are you doing to help your own cause?

No need for an election -- the overnights are in -- starring Jay Leno and Republican candidate for California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

And on the morning after the night before A.C. NIELSEN shows the TONIGHT SHOW duo captured nearly 1 out of 4 televisions turned on in the Los Angeles market [the nation's #2] in a ratings sensation!

A snapshot at country-wide results showed the hour at NBC averaged a 7.1 rating/17 share -- but far from actor Hugh Grant's 1995 Leno confessional of 10.2 rating, 26 share.

[Leno's first episode in '92 scored 13.8/38 and the night of CHEERS finale a year later poured 18.5/47]...

My candidate should have had this opportunity!!!

C'mon, Colonel, Davis is as good as gone. Even if he were to stay in office, he's now been politically wounded and his opinions will carry no weight. He just looks weak, now... especially considering that his own party believes that he can no longer govern (most dem party chiefs wanted Feinsten to run, I believe).

You can't govern if you're no longer taken seriously. So... Why not let the whole davis thing go and find someone else to support? This thread SHOULD have been hilarious but it's now been taken over by the same old 'my party versus yours' junk.

Thank you, monkey. I am very familiar with our election process. And I have already singed numerous petitions and written my congressman about impeachment.

its not hilarious when the repugnats try to subvert the process. In any event, Davis should just step down and let the LT. Gov take over and end all this recall crap.
