just wait for his reply, if any. If you want to catalog his stuff I'm happy to go ahead. The big problem is that, hoax or not, he's been pretty accurate in predicting things, so I'm still keeping an eye on 2005.

BTW, JT never said that regular people had access to time-travel. He said it was up-coming, but not a definate. I can't imagine anyone letting just any old schmo take off willy-nilly with a time machine. Talk about disaster!

If anyone out there can claim this hoax and prove it beyond a reasonable doubt-give it up already!!!!

For those who missed it in the two minutes it was there, my original post stated:

1. You don't have to be a member to read these threads.
2. I don't think this guy is the same person who wrote the JT stuff. His syntax and general phrasing, imo, are different.

Without a direct admission, you may interpret it how you see it. I for one have no doubt its him.

I see a crafty fella who's taken thousands for a loop. Do I think it was malicious? Of course not, he's raised awareness among thousands on a multitude of issues.

Please don't hesitate to post this fact in any venue that suggests the contrary. Seriously. I'm too busy. I don't have time (and certainly didn't have time two or three years ago). And if I did, I'd do a BETTER JOB! The John Titor stuff is obviously flawed in dozens of ways...

A couple of thoughts, and an email reply:

1. Unless RG has a reason to lie, it would reasonable to assume he's telling the truth. When dealing with liars there's no way to tell one way or the other, but RG is not a liar (or hasn't shown himself to be).

2. It occured to me that perhaps RG didn't post that "clue" at ufocity ... it was noted that the JT could've been formulated by a thinktank group. Perhaps an old member pointed a finger at RG as a practical joke. Perhaps the other members would confess, if they did such a thing.

3. Finally, when it first came out that it was a "clear haox" (not so certain though) after a moments reflection I felt kind of stupid. The fact is, just look at today's posts, there a lot of other stuff going that could use this attention and energy. It's kinda of silly to worry about a time traveller when the PA2 is around the corner if OPEC doesn't vote the American way, etc.

Cheeze, you're the third person to contact me TODAY on this, and I still have no idea what "ample evidence" you're all talking about. Could you direct me to something, somewhere, that might clue me in? One person babbled something about Clifford Pickover (what Pickover has to do with Titor I have no idea) as a connection of some sort. I think it is some sort of mistaken identity as there simply cannot be any real evidence as I NEVER HEARD of Titor before today and would cheerfully have skipped today.

Or it is the work of one of my "friends" trying to clog my already overcrowded emailbox.

okay that's it. We all have valid points here. Re-reading what RG wrote: he didn't say much of anything about time travel, other than there should be people popping up everywhere, "now". The machine includes the vechicle and everything in it ... a car can hold enough air for 3 hours, I'm sure.

I'm going to catalog everything he's said. I'm going to bug William and if I can't get a research thread I'll make on in Chit chat. Anyone who wants to help is free to. I can not analyze this story without systematically going over the facts. Period. Can I get a lock on the thread please
