Historians claim to have found a 60-year-old diagram showing a Nazi nuclear bomb. However a number of historians rejected the claim saying that it was produced immediately after the end of the war in Europe.
Professor Paul Lawrence Rose of Pennsylvania State University, US, speculates it was possible the author arrived at this figure by reading the Smyth Report into the development of the US atomic bomb, which was published in July 1945. But Karlsch and Walker reject this claim.

Historians working in Germany and the US claim to have found a 60-year-old diagram showing a Nazi nuclear bomb.
It is the only known drawing of a "nuke" made by Nazi experts and appears in a report held by a private archive.

The researchers who brought it to light say the drawing is a rough schematic and does not imply the Nazis built, or were close to building, an atomic bomb.

This is very interesting though it may be wishful thinking on the part of hisorian like Dr Karlsch who claim that the Germans carried out a primative nuclear test in Thuringa in March 1945 - though MI6 interviews of the scientist said to be responsible are held as proof that this is not so as it is said he clearly did not have the knowledge to have done so.

I wonder how this reflects on Heisenberg and if it is true whether he was involved with this drawing. Especially his claim to have frustrated successful research into the bomb.

American aerospace and nuclear technology mainly rests on research performed in germany under Hitler, so it is natural, that, given the fact that the americans used such weapons in 1947 already, the germans must have already been close to their operational deployment in 1945. Most german weapons, rocket and aeronautical engineers and scientists were forced to work for the USA after WW2. Also, billions in wealth of intellectual property on inventions in diverse multiple domains of science and engineering were 'transferred' to the united states.

NAZIs were trying to make a nuke in the mid 40's(43-45) and we used resistance fighters to destroy heavy water facilities and the barrels, which is used to make the nukes
Also we used albert einstein to make the nuke. Also not all of them were used aftet the war, some fled from Hitler so not all were under him,but a lot were.

Americans used nukes in 1947

Don't know where you got that, but the bombs were actually dropped in 1945 on Japan, after being developed in the U.S. (without German help). In 1945, there was no way the Germans could have helped develop American nuclear weapons.

Except for those ones that fled from Europe.

But those were in 1945 when Germany was defeated. Not early enough to have influenced the U.S. effort.
