who has seen 'cast away'? unbelievable!!!!! there was reference to 'fed ex', 'wilson', 'spalding', 'Dr peper'... e.c.t.
are they taking liberties with us or what! is this propaganda for globalization?

its called product placement. Companies pay to get references in films. think ET and reeces' pieces.
think sienfeld and the cereal boxes.
