Just as Arnold Schwarzenegger sets to rambling on yet again about his plans to run for governor of California -- "If [Gov. Gray] Davis goes on the way he is then eventually there will be a vacuum in a year and I could" make a run, he tells the Los Angeles Times -- he's getting the sort of press treatment that can terminate a political career.

Yep, thanks to Premiere magazine, which has seen fit to publish rumors that have been swirling around Schwarzenegger for months, Arnold's got his own sex scandal.

In an upcoming article headlined "Arnold the Barbarian," the magazine alleges that Schwarzenegger has caused pain in his marriage. Lots of it.

One journalist claims to have seen Schwarzenegger "making out" with his "Total Recall" costar, Rachel Ticotin. A former employee says he pawed Linda Hamilton while her then-boyfriend, "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" director James Cameron, looked the other away. And two witnesses say they watched horrified as the brawny actor accosted a female crew member working on "T2," "put his hands inside her blouse" and sent her crying to a nearby trailer.

But feeling up a crew member may not have been Schwarzenegger's most shocking transgression on the "T2" set. According to the magazine, the actor was fond of humiliating his dresser. "Sit, you ugly dog," he'd reportedly bark. And the man would be required to drop to his knees.

Doesn't sound like old Ah-nuld's governor material, does it? President, maybe ...

Notice Colonel's post..did he deal with issues? No, went right from page one of the dem playbook...character assaination. Thats the best defense..no need to worry whether it has any truth or not. These guys would back Grey Davis until they were knee deep in their own sewage on no other principle than party loyalty.

It didn't take long for the "left" to start jumping up and down on Conan The Terminator's credibility. Just go take a look at Buzzflash. They are bashing the guy like no tomorrow. I think Arnie is fine, as long as he stays the hell out of an official position...

I can think of another actor who went on to become president after serving as CA's Governor.

(Orin Hatch proposed a constitutional amendment allowing foreign born citizens of 20 years to serve as president - so, you never know).

Sry don't mean to be skeptic about it but Arnold would make a terrible Governer, just think how Cali would be in a few years I't won't be the Golden state any more but the BS state, just about all the canidates than tried to run for governer I think all this is a joke let actors be actors and stars be stars and politicians be politicians.

Pealse Arnold, do me a favor continue on with ur low budget films and stop pursuing to be a governer, first he says he running then hesays he's not then he said he running for some kind of executive postion in California, then he announces in the Jayleno show that he's running...
Oh well that is probably not the last time we'll hear from Arnold cuz 'he'll be back',

Ok, let's deal withthe issues. Does he have ANY political experince in running a state. No. In running a city. No. In running a county. No. In running a school district. No. A PTA meeting. No. He has no experience ANYWHERE and you expect him to run a state that has the 5th largest economy in the world?

This is gonna be funny.

I didn't notice any "issues" there.

Of course, Bloomberg didn't have any experience either, and he's turned around the largest city economy in the country (NYC).

I'm not saying Ahhnuld will be a great politician... don't even know if he'll be average. However... he's worked pretty hard to go from poor bodybuilding kid to where he is today... and the ability to work hard still means something. In the scheme of things, how he got to where he is now is at least much more admirable than GW Bush.

In any event, for whatever reason, it's made more people pay attention to politics and the mechanisms of selecting elected leaders... and that's never a bad thing.

Colonel, now, are you supporting Howard Dean for president - who was the governor of a state of something like 600k? If Arnold was a democrat just admit it, you would love him.

Arnold is more than an actor. He's certainly not new to politics and he's not a bad businessman.

It's interesting to see the other GOP contenders drop out as much as it is to see the LT. Gov put his name in the hat.

What did Arnold once say of Democrats? Something like "they reminded him of the Socialists in Austria"?

Ah-nuld needs to come to NJ. Seriously. This place sucks SO badly.

On the note of him as a politician, I think Ah-nuld's work ethic and devotion to the people coupled with a Lt. Gov who could advise him would make him a fine "Governator".

"Vote for me if you want to live." *as Arnold streaches his hand out to Sarah Conner in T2*

Low budget? I beg to differ -

T-3 = $170,000,000
Collateral Damage = $85,000,000
The 6th Day = $82,000,000
End of Days = $83,000,000
Eraser = $100,000,000
T-2 = $100,000,000

Please do your research before you post and when you do, I would recommend you proofread it first...the typographical errors in your post stuck out like sore thumbs.

If he makes it through the personal slime machine the Dems operate he just may use his popularity and and "Of the People" message to get in.

He is a very moderate Republican in all respects, yet the GOP will support anyone (hence Riordan and others dropping) who catches the ear of the electorate and shows in polls that he can win.
