What is so difficult about not hurting other people?

Why do we fight about who owns what?

Why do we feel the need to set up a system for ourselves in which we are governed by others?

Why should any country have (or even want) one spokesman for everyone who lives there?

Don't we have our own voices?

(I mean)
If a situation were to arise which could have an effect on everyone in the entire nation, the technology currently exists such that we could all voice our opinion and vote for the best course of action.

We just need people that organize.

Not people that govern.

When the moon is in the seventh house
and jupiter aligns with mars
The peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars

this is the dawning of the age of aquarius
the age of aquarius

aquarius
aquarius

harmony and understanding
sympathy and trust abounding
no more falsehoods or derisions
golden living dreams of visions
mystic crystals revelations
and the minds true liberation

aquarius
aquarius

when the moon is in the seventh house
and jupiter aligns with mars
then peace will guide the planets
and love will steer the stars

this is the dawning of the age of aquarius
the age of aquarius

aquarius

Unfortunately, you are about 40 years too late, and probably, most unfortunately, it did not work well the first time. :bnghd:

Incidentally, that is exactly what gov'ts do: they organize. Without governments the earth would be in chaos, pure anarchy. Sure some people (like yourself maybe) would be content to just do their own thing and not bother your neighbor but unfortunately human nature is insidious and corrupt and there are people who will manifest that inherent corruption in the form of crime against their fellow man. Hence the requisite institutions (police, fire depts, banks etc) that keep everyone inline and provide for their comfort, convenience and/or safety. But as I'm sure many people would tell you, a pure democracy is neither possible nor desirable.
