Well sanc', whatever your answer is I think you'll find that Hall & Oates is another. They had a ton of #1's (in the U.S. at least) and both of them wrote most of the songs.

I'll continue to try and figure out your answer. Any more hints?

Yes, Dr Love. I agree that this an ambiguous question. And there may be many groups/bands that have achieved this feat. Also elevatedone, i say the same regarding Fleetwood Mac.

However, if i was more transparent in the clues it may be solved too quickly.

So, can i change the quiz to...what group/band am i referring to?

Oni, the problem with ABBA is that only the keyboard player had any real talent. The other three were about as talented as Pauly Shore.
