Mother indicted for hiring stripper for son's birthday party

a WAY-too-carefree mom hires a stripper for her 16 yr son's birthday party. look, i was 16 not too long ago, and even i think this is crossing the line. sure, somewhere in the back of my head i would have loved to have had some naked chick dancing for me on my 16th party, but the intelligent side of me takes lead and says this mom was just plain stupid. not to mention her reasoning when defending what she did..."Who are they to tell me what I can and can't show to my own children?" ...what crap. this type of thing would not have happened 50 years ago. i honestly think the "progressive" thinking is getting far out of hand and leading to a society that will eventually think anything goes.

I think she is right. If i did this, I would make sure my kid would know and respect the position of the person stipping..

there was a talk show I watched where this family went to a nudest colony. The kid was i think 13 to 15 or something.. Anyway the point is, the kid i think respects the femal more than if we would do.. cause he looks deeper into the person than what is shown on the outside...

Plus I agree wit that lady on "If this happened 50 yrs ago this wouldnt even be news."

i can't believe that some parrent hired a stripper for a kid's party :shk:. you know if it was only HER SON involved, while still something that i feel is wrong it would not realy be a problem. the fact that her son was not the only minor there is the problem. if i was a parrent of one of the other chilren i would definately be pushing for a major convictoin as well as a civil suit. she had no RIGHT to expose children she has no responsibility for to the sexual danceing of a stripper.

Sex and nudity has been vilified and taboo'd, yet both are much more natural than much of the other crap that is deemed acceptable in society...

I'd much rather have my 16 year old son (if i had one, but i will one day) watch a stripper and pornos, than be exposed to the voilence you see on TV.

I do agree though that the other kids parents also have the right to decide what their kids get exposed to... so maybe in that it was wrong... but hell the kids is probably one of the most popular kids in school now.

Forget an indictment... this woman should get Mom of the Year honors! All I got for my 16th birthday was a lousy Playstation! Although my dad did get me a couch dance from two Korean strippers in Las Vegas, but mom was at home 2,000 miles away and doesn't know about it still!

Exposing children to nudity in a nudist colony is one thing, because EVERYONE is naked. A situation in which only a woman is getting naked and being provocative creates a situation in which it becomes very easy to objectify the woman and only value her for how big her breasts are or how cleanly she is shaven.

I don't think it is right for a mother to hire a STRIPPER for her son's 16th birthday, but at the same time i think it is absurd when parents disallow their children from watching a movie because of one sex-scence but will allow the same kids to see GoreFest2k5.

Alot of people claim that exposure to nudity and sex at a young age will cause young males to have a derogatory view of womne and sex... i beg to differ. I was going to strip clubs at a young age (15), and watching porn from an even younger age (10) and i am more respectfuil to women than many of my friends who have been sheltered from such images.

I think the female body is a beautiful thing and it is a shame that nudity is so taboo these days... i think everyone should walk around nude

So is this worst then the parent that hires a hooker for their son's 16th birthday. I've heard about that too. Apparently they never heard of digital camera though, as that is how they got caught. Some busy body in a photo developement store. Funny how those stores rarely catch the pedophiles.

I dont see what the mum did wrong if fact good hon her for not giving her son pony rides at the zoo. As for the crimnal charges dont the police have anything better to do? While they proscute this lady there are murders , robbers and other crimnals still on the lose.

If I was an american tax payer I wouldnt be happy if my tax dollars were wasted on such acts by lawenforcement.

I'm sure the kids have seen more on MTV as a lot of the music videos now seem to be bordering on the soft porn side. I'm sure they've all probably had sneaky peeks at a porno mag or two in a quiet place too

Let me take a moment to explain why a stripper is an evil thing to inflict on a 16 year old. It is a psychological truth that human sexuality is primarily a learned experience. Humans learn arrousal from their experiences and the interpretation of those experiences. What is exciting for one person will not be for another. This is not primarily due to genetics but rather to conditioning in the person.

It is also a statistical fact that those who consider themselves to be most sexually fufilled are those who have been partnered to one person in a lasting monogomous relationship. This is not to say that these people have experienced all the variety of sexual experience of others but simply to say that they consider themselved to be sexually fufilled.

The reason for this is that human are designed to bond to each other and to imprint sexually upon a single partner, learning the definitions of what sexuality can be from that partnership. When this design is followed, sexual fufillment is a natural because the definition of fufillment is outlined by the ones engaged in the sexual activity.

One of the problems with sexuality in the modern world is that society has come started to take on the role that only a marriage partner should have. society has started to define what sexuality should look like. Often, as in the case of a stripper, that definition is skewed so far from the reality of human relations that it creates an unfufillable desire in a person. This desire can become an addiction that seeks fufillment in ever more base and shameful displays of perversion until the sexually addicted person slips into harmful sexual thrills such as S+M or pedophilia. Exposing teenagers to a false impression of what women are like sexually is setting them up for disappointment in their future relationships. It lays a foundation for fornication and adultery that will lessen their chances of living a sexually fufilled life.

Bottom line is that sexual purity is not just the soap box sermon of the sexually repressed. It is for all those who want to have the best chance to be sexually fufilled when they form a lasting monogomous relationship.

The old saying goes you can only make a first impression once. In the world of sexual imprints how sad it is for a group of young teens to have their first sexual impression of feminity be a stripper who only teases, never delivers, and is gone as quickly as she came. To inflict that upon those who attend a 16th Bday party is just plain wrong. It becomes criminal if you inflict it upon the children of others whose written permission you have not secured.

I hope those involved serve a few weeks behind bars as an example.

We've had some good laughs, but I'll tell you what's not funny – killing strippers. Strippers are people too; naked people who may be willing to pleasure you for a price you negotiate later behind the curtain of a VIP room. i was at an office party in the 80's when a stripper came in to surprise one of the execs, whose birthday was apparently the impetus for the party. as luck would have it there was a 9-10 year old boy there as sometimes happens at such office things...he said he wouldn't look, you can guess the rest

i don't think the place should have been raided by the morality police.
