Viagra and sudden blindness.
LMAO... I couldn't help but to think about that joke... "If you don't stop playing with that thing, you'll go blind". LOL!!!

And, that maybe it's a duel medication... for those that have a 'not so pretty girl' (for the politicaly correct, or guy).

I feel sorry for men who have to take Viagra, it shows they are getting old or have problems with their equipment. If a side effect is blindness then this drug ought to be investigated. I always think that wanting to shag has become Mans downfall in life, makes you venerable.

Venerable means respects, are you sure that's what you meant to say?

Poor society, bombarded with the "Stanley grow long" pills. Sex is great and all that, but it's not important enough to go blind. Then you will be walking around with two stiff poles, one of them being a walking stick that blind people use to see with.

Priority should allways be a strong lasting relationship first, sex takes care of itself. The car will find it's way into the garage if the light (relationship) is on.

It's very healthy to be sexually active (as long as you're smart about it) but it's much healthier to not be blind. I rarely suport them, but sometimes natural metods can be helpful, especially as supplements. Personally, I intend to just keep on keepin on. A healthy lifestyle, I feel, should do you right in the end.

I know people who take viagra not for medicinal reasons, but for recreational... Think about it, you bring a girl home, down one V, then bang... your up all night long doing the sweet thing...

She then tells her friends about it...

I myself dont take it (no need), but some of my friends do and they swear its the best thing since sex was invented

Also i heard the instance of people goin blind were like 50 in 23000000... that to me is more than acceptable odds, seeing as you have alot of other medications on the market that have a higher risk of ill side effects and they dont get bad press...

I wish I was long enough to poke my eye out.

Like specialasianx said, 50 in 23000000 is pretty good odds.

Viagra is not just for impotence, but that is the most publicized. It is also for pulmonary hypertension.

PS Good joke, AngelaLadyS. I can't believe I missed that one.

If you are on nitro for your heart, you shouldn't be taking any of these pills.
Also, it is a myth, you do not stay up all night because of the little pill. It is only an aid at being able to become erect. The actual love making and climax are all in a normal duration and occurrence. If the man stays erect for more than four hours no matter what is taken or isn't taken, there's a good chance the appendage will fall off. This is why the advertisement always says seek medical attention after four hours. Cailis and Levitra are supposed to work for several days but they are not talking about multiple times during this interval nor or they talking about a duration for four hours in any one occurence. If I had this impairment, I would try the little pill with those odds. My Mother always told me I would eventually go blind if I played with it. So, guess over the years, I've prepared myself for that unfortunate incident to occur. Either way, I want my Lady to smile like the one on TV.

Yep, aspartame causes it, and Viagra's supposed to cure it.

Aspartame triggers impotence--and it can also make you blind!

Easy solution--ditch the aspartame.

I try to avoid aspartame when ever possible. I hear our good friend Rumsfeld was the guy who got this sugar substitute passed through the FDA with approval to go into evrything they call diet 'blank'. From what I hear, Splendora includes it as an ingredient as well. This stuff will clog your circulatory system and many other side effects. I'd prefer to die from diabetes and the size of a house than use this stuff. At least they seem to know the odds on Viagra. I bet they will not publish the harm about the use of Aspartame.

In addition to Viagra, another nasty sexual aid is Yohimbe, an extract from African tree bark. You find it in health food stores. Many have had heart attacks from using it.

There are a couple of healthy alternatives to Yohimbe and Viagra. They work subtly instead of dramatically but they definitely assist in maintaining healthy sexual function. Granted, they are not quick fixes. But you won't have to worry about high blood pressure, stroke, or cardiac arrest from taking them.

The first one is called Saw Palmetto.

The second and I believe to be the better of the two, is Lycopene.

For men, a healthy prostate greatly helps in maintaining healthy sexual function.

I rather like what Suzzanne Sommers has to say on this matter. She is claiming impotence comes from harmonal changes in the body and can be taken care of naturally. She claims keeping your harmonal balance in line is much MORE effective than viagra.
Proof lies in the harmonal balance of woman going through menopause. The drugs given to women to help with those issues, are ALL harmonal based. I would think this would also be true for men......we are ALL humans afterall.

I do not know the name of her book that covers these subjects......I do know it has been coined as a way of eating correctly called 'Sommersise' after her name of course.
I would think that before falling back on a PILL....people would try the natural route. Maybe people just want a quick fix though.....

I remember seeing Suzanne Somers on a TV interview when she addressed this. She gets natural-based hormonal treatments that are specifically geared for her. She claims that the generic, synthetic-based hormonal treatments are not as effective and could even be dangerous.

My concern about hormonal treatment, even natural-based ones that are specific in dosage to a particular person, is that there is mounting evidence that ANY hormonal treatment leads to cancer.

In having talked about and researched this and related topics for years, there is the circulating opinion that smoking and birth control pills make women age prematurely.

I know of a family friend who, years ago, would ignore advice about not pursuing hormonal treatments to help her with menopause. She now has cancer.

I would be extremely careful in pursuing ANY form of hormonal treatment because of its cancer causing aspects

Vitamin supplements, if taken in the correct dosages, generally have no bad side effects. There are also herbs that can be safely taken to regulate hormonal levels.

Recent news shows they are concidering using Viagra for "hypertense" children

First they tried it on woman for "frigidness", or whatever the medical term is
for women who can get erotically stimulated or interested. That failed.

Now they are targeting kids.

Viagra is a drug of abuse, and should be removed.

Cannabis on the other hand causes delayed ejaculation, ie, better, harder, longer!

I believe you're referring to pulmonary hypertension - a bit different.

If not, could you provide a link so we can take a looksee? Thanks

Viagra and sudden blindness.

Very surprised that no link(s) offered on this subject. So my question is whether the blindness was very brief, temporary, permanent, intermittent or whatever?

As a 40+ healthy man with equipment in perfect working order, I decided to try this product recreationally along with Cialis later on in my trial sessions. My wife will attest (lol) that although I have always been 'vigouress'; the blue pill added an extra 'zing'. The yellow pill increased this by 3 days!

So you can understand why I'm concerned about asking the question about blindness.

Both drugs were very easy to obtain on prescrition here in the UK but I was not advised about the possibility of blindness, only 'blue flashing' with V, which I did experience; it was kinda trippy!

As for the opinion offered by Bulldog:

I always think that wanting to shag has become Mans downfall in life

I feel sorry for you. It is pretty obvious that you have had some bad relationships, but a healthy adult sex life is a very important aspect of life, unless you are wholly devoted to a 'faith' that demands abstinence and view sex as either evil, a sin or a weakness. Or of course see women as 'Draining us of our body's natural fluids'

And finally:

Originally posted by Legalizer Now they are targeting kids.

I have several issues with this. Again, where's the links to Viagra being targeted to kids. Why should I have to search for it?

Also, Legalizer, I have been a recreational user of dope for many years in the past and never has the drug had that effect on me, nor any of the guys I hung out with and certainly the chicks we were all dating. Yes, a general feeling of euphoria but certainly not adding 'vigour' to the member. In fact, most times, sex was the furthest thing from our brains, or other parts. But if it helps to float your boat, good luck!

Peace Out
