Just saw this on FoxNews-- 9:10am, 8/6/03 (Television, unable to link.. couldn't find the story online). Police have a robot attempting to open a van that is suspected of being loaded with explosives in Van Nuys, CA.

They suspect the guy burned up a bunch of police cars. They are just using caution with his van. I will try to find a link.

Well this is very odd. My local news was covering this,but when I go to their webpage there is nothing. Hmmmm.

I bet it's a nuke and they can't disarm it


If it's fake though, why report on it more? Makes your station look bad for reporting disinformation.

Well then they would just say it was precautionary measure. They also spent quite a bit of time on it this morning. I would think they would update the situation.
