Maybe you were including the things I mentioned in your statement but I thought a lot of people would overlook the fact that western people do many similar things to their bodies for many of the same reasons.

very true, and its a very old tradition for them to do that,

and no matter what we all say about it, its

fashion and traditional for them to do so,

i personaly would never consider it but then they mey never

consider having their hair layered the way i do.

but oh well.
