Here's a good link. I looked it up myself because I had been under the impression that July 27th was the day of closest approach.

P.S. If you'll take the first http:// out of damefools link, it will work also.

Mars is already visible to our naked eye.

Look for a bright star which located on moons 5 o'clock.
