The third case was the “The Official Night of UFOs in Brazil”, a very significative group of events that happened in May 1986, when 21 objects of over 100 m in diameter jammed Brazilian air traffic control system over Rio de Janeiro, Sao Jose dos Campos and Sao Paulo, mainly, and several jets were sent to intercept – without any success – the intruders.

Damn, this was definitively a HUGE event. Check these pages for more informations about this unbelievable case :

Great! It'll only take disclosure by one big nation before the others are forced to face up.

For the record, ATSNN link.

Wild news, I'd like to see how it develops.

I can't wait to see this begin to play itself out !

During two hours, the researchers were given lectures of the procedures conducted at Cindacta and had the chance to visit air traffic control rooms and understand how UFOs could be detected by the Air Force personnel.

This statment inparticular , if true, could change everything as we know it in this debate over the true nature of the UFO phenomena.

Also I think its important to note that it is believed that Brazil had captured an EBE. So I wonder will this devopment lead us to the sacred proof that everyone desires?

I also have to think that heads must be spinning here behind closed doors in the U.S., as this admission by the Brazilian millitary, further undermines the already shaky credibility of our own millitary's denials, that they do not take the phemomena seriously.

.J. Gevaerd of the Brazilian Committee of UFO Researchers reports that a number of important files have just been released, including a folder containing documents from 1977 that cover dozens of cases of UFOs in the Amazon with over 100 pictures made during Operation Saucer, an official Brazilian military investigation that was carried out between September and December, 1977.

This isn't Disclosure, capital D. Thats supposed to be where the government says 'yes, there are aliens' or 'ok, we admit it, we have super advanced tech', not doing the equivalent of making the Brazilian Version of Bluebook open to the public.

If this is true and Brazil comes forward with hardcore evidents meaning actual alien space craft or alien being and or specimens they could lead the world in world wide disclosure. I guess thats why this is so significant.

Best translator site I've ever found folks...

I doubt they'll release info on the Varginha incident.

Hmm... I had never heard of that - thanks for the link!

That website is quite well organized - I would like to see more UFOlogy web sites to show that level of professionalism.

Very interesting...

As far as my opinion of Brazillian disclosure - I say we jump on and record any evidence they give us - before other world powers attempt to correct their behavior!

there is another update about this here

It's about time after all these years this type of info and evidence started coming out. I just hope there's some type of "smoking gun" evidence that will finally give much needed hard evidence to the UFO Investigative community.

The Brazilian Air Force has made this announcement before. ('86 I think, but I'd have to check)....

While a great step, they need to follow through with releasing the evidence they have, and yes, a smoking gun would be nice...

Probably everytime they have tried to release any evidence, they get a phone call from the people who really run the show and tell them to stop.

I just hope that this time they follow through with it.

with this acknoledgement comes the vindication for all the beleivers that held onto the hope...
thru the "facts" of:
the distance being too great
the chance of other beings creation going against the bible...
ufos wouldn't need lights, so we wouldn't be able to see them if they did exist
and the other common "facts" that are presented to refute the idea of ET's

Now I guess this official declaration makes the believers the sane ones, and the unbelievers the ones living in denial...
I love it...

whenever anyone says "ufo's aren't real, you're crazy" we can counter with... "sure they are, you ignorant little nutball"

Now as soon as I see the bodies or live aliens from the Vargiana case (which they acknowledged) I can die a happy man, when the comet hits...
