I'm such a n00b to the subject, I don't even know if my topic made sense. I want to make a website and have the server right here at home. We have aDSL. So I don't even know if that could get fast enough. If that would even work, is there any way (short of becoming an expert) that someone like me could do this? Or should I just fork over the $8 a month to someone else (give me recommendations for this option too
)? You'll see my website online in seven years, TOPS! >_< Thanks.

There are lots and lots of ways.

The easiest however, is to review the terms of your dsl account.

Most of them give you a Personal Web Page with 10MB storage.

Just surf to your providers website and see....
